The currency in New Zealand is the New Zealand Dollar (NZD) so as I was coming from Australia I had to exchange some of my money, cause my Australian Dollars(AUD) were useless now.
So upon arrival to New Zealand I did the same as I once did when I was travelling to Australia for the first time.
I introduce you the notes available in NZ.
I like specially the picture in the 5$ note. It’s displaying a picture of Sir Edmund Hillary. Edmund Hillary has a special place in the culture of New Zealand, I knew him because he was the first man to climb the Everest (along with the sherpa Tenzing Norgay) , but I found out more during my trip.
